Description
Stainless MIG Welding Wire for 316L Applications – Kiswel
This stainless MIG wire for 316L is engineered for welding low-carbon 18%Cr-12%Ni-Mo austenitic stainless steels. With added silicon, the wire provides superior arc stability, excellent weld bead wetting, and cleaner welds. As a result, it’s ideal for high-spec applications in the chemical, marine, and cryogenic industries.
The wire operates using argon shielding gas and DC(+) polarity, and it performs best in flat and horizontal-fillet positions. It is certified according to AWS and EN welding standards, ensuring dependable quality for both manual and automated welding operations.
Why use stainless MIG wire for 316L applications?
Enhanced weldability and bead appearance due to high silicon
High impact resistance even at cryogenic temperatures
