Description

This zirconium flap disc with dual-layer structure is built for efficient grinding on stainless steel and strong alloys. It has a T29 conical backing pad with two different flap sizes, which increases contact with the surface and improves grinding speed.

The disc uses zirconia corundum abrasive grains (50% zirconium) fixed on a poly-cotton belt. This setup delivers:

The flaps come in two widths but the same grit. The narrower upper flap partly covers the wider one below. This way, the disc offers strong removal at first and smoother results after the top layer wears down. You can grind and finish without changing tools.

Each flap is machine-cut and placed with ±0.5 mm accuracy. The 7-layer fiberglass base keeps the disc stable, and epoxy resin secures the flaps during use.

To get the best results, use the disc at 15˚–25˚ with a 125 mm angle grinder of at least 1400W and adjustable speed.
