This zirconium flap disc for corner grinding delivers precise results in tight spaces, edges, and curved surfaces. Its T27 flat backing pad includes circumferentially recessed flaps that extend beyond the pad edge. These flaps allow the disc to reach into corners and follow the shape of the workpiece easily.

We use poly-cotton-backed zirconia abrasive belts with 50% zirconium grain to build each flap. This high-quality composition ensures fast material removal and long tool life, even when grinding stainless steel or high-strength alloys.

Our team arranges the flaps radially with ±0.5 mm precision, ensuring balance and consistent grinding across the surface. A 7-layer fiberglass plate supports the structure and resists deformation under pressure. We apply industrial-grade epoxy resin to bond the flaps securely, even during high-load operations.

We’ve optimized the flap density based on extensive testing. This setup ensures performance across all available grit sizes. You can use this disc for both coarse grinding and fine finishing.

For optimal results, work at a 5˚–15˚ angle using a 125 mm angle grinder with speed control.
