This diamond blade with protective segments is specifically designed for cutting asphalt and expansion joints in fresh concrete. It features 14 protective segments, spaced at 25° intervals. As a result, these segments prevent undercutting and delay wear on the active cutting area.

The blade combines a high concentration of synthetic diamond grains with a very hard bond. Therefore, it performs efficiently on abrasive materials, keeping the cost per cut low even in demanding conditions.

Each segment is laser welded to the blade body. This ensures a strong connection that enhances safety and allows smooth, controlled cutting. In addition, the precise welding prevents segment loss during intensive use.

You can use this blade for large-scale cutting projects. It contains 42 segments in total, each 10 mm high, which guarantees long service life—provided you follow proper cutting principles.

Furthermore, continuous water cooling is essential. The manufacturer recommends a minimum water supply of 8 liters per minute to ensure optimal performance and blade longevity.
