Description

This aluminium oxide fibre disc for general grinding is designed for working on surfaces, edges, and corners under standard pressure from an angle grinder. It offers reliable material removal and long service life, especially when used on steel and other standard-strength metals.

The disc features a vulcanized fiber backing (0.8 mm thick) with a layer of aluminium oxide abrasive grains bonded using synthetic resin. This structure ensures solid performance during everyday grinding, cleaning, and surface preparation tasks.

In addition, the disc requires a suitable backing plate. The plate’s hardness and flexibility directly affect the grinding efficiency and safety. For best results, match the backing plate type to your specific task—use a firmer one for aggressive removal or a flexible one for finishing and edge work.

Available in FEPA grit sizes P24 to P80 (850–200 µm), this fibre disc gives you a wide choice—from coarse grinding to finer surface blending.
