This zirconium flap disc for edge grinding is ideal for precise material removal on stainless steel and other hard metals. It features a T27 flat backing pad and radially arranged lamellae, which concentrate grinding pressure along a single line. As a result, the disc delivers clean, even edge finishing with excellent control.

Each flap measures 23 mm in width and is machine-cut from a poly-cotton-backed zirconia belt with 50% zirconium grain content. Thanks to this combination, the disc provides fast material removal and a long service life, even in demanding grinding tasks.

The lamellae are arranged with ±0.5 mm placement precision, which guarantees consistent balance and surface quality. In addition, the 7-layer fiberglass backing adds durability and safety under high loads, while the epoxy resin bonding ensures that flaps stay firmly attached throughout use.

Furthermore, the disc’s flap density has been carefully optimized based on diameter and grit size. Therefore, whether you’re performing coarse grinding or fine finishing, you’ll get reliable performance across all stages of the job.

Use this disc at a grinding angle of 5˚–15˚ for best results, preferably with a 125 mm variable-speed grinder.
