Description

This ceramic flap disc for surface grinding is designed for fast and efficient grinding on flat and slightly contoured surfaces. It features a T29 conical backing pad combined with radially arranged flaps. As a result, the disc delivers a larger contact area and more stable surface engagement, especially at angles between 15˚ and 25˚.

Each flap is made from abrasive belts coated with 100% ceramic grains, offering high material removal rates and extended service life—even when used on hardened steels. Moreover, the poly-cotton backing ensures a good balance of strength and flexibility, making the disc suitable for both aggressive grinding and refined surface finishing.

Furthermore, the flaps are machine-cut and positioned with ±0.5 mm accuracy around the backing pad. The disc uses a 7-layer fiberglass base for high safety and stability during demanding applications. A strong epoxy resin adhesive secures each flap for long-term durability.
