Description

This corundum flap disc for surface grinding helps you achieve fast and uniform results on medium-hard ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its T29 conical backing pad increases surface contact during use. As a result, the disc performs efficiently on flat or slightly contoured workpieces.

We build the flaps using aluminum oxide abrasive belts, applied to a durable X-heavy cotton backing. Thanks to this structure, the disc handles continuous grinding with minimal wear and consistent performance.

Each flap is machine-cut and positioned with ±0.5 mm accuracy, which ensures excellent balance and predictable grinding results. The 7-layer fiberglass plate reinforces the disc, adding mechanical strength and impact resistance.

We bond the flaps with a heat-resistant epoxy adhesive, which holds them securely in place under pressure. Moreover, we calibrate the flap density based on grit size and disc diameter, ensuring even wear and long service life.

You can select from FEPA grit sizes P40 to P120, depending on whether you need aggressive grinding or smooth finishing. For best results, work at a 15˚–25˚ angle using a 150 mm angle grinder with adjustable speed.
